PR-10 proteins as a reservoir of hydrophobic ligands in the plant cell

Plant pathogenesis-related proteins in class 10 (PR- 10) have well-defined structures , but the physiological function unclear . The discovery that the plant hormone binding protein from the group of cytokines ( CSBP ) belong to a group of structurally PR- 10 , suggesting that the binding of hydrophobic ligands of the general biological role of this entire class. This is confirmed by the structure of lupine protein complexes LLPR - 10.2B of cytokinins .

Cytokinins, their biochemical activity in the processes of division, aging and apoptosis of human and animal cells

Cytokinins are one of the major groups of plant hormones . They stimulate anabolic processes , growth and cell division . The first was discovered cytokinin kinetin , or N-6 furfuryloadenina . Kinetin is an important component of the metabolic pathway that allows the cell to get rid of excess free radicals. This is in response to oxidative stress . The plant cells in the cytosolic fraction , and microsomal membranes are thylakoid cytokinin binding proteins - CBP ( Cytokinin called Binding Protein ) . Binding of them referred to cytokinin induces a physiological response .

Synthesis and hydrolysis of conjugates of plant hormones in regulating the level of active hormones

Plant hormones are important in all aspects of plant growth and development , but the phenomenon of hormonal homeostasis is not fully understood. Conjugation of phytohormones is considered an important element of the mechanism responsible for the levels of these compounds in the cell. It is a process that occurs in all tested plants in response to environmental and physiological factors .

Molecular mechanisms of action of cytokinins

Cytokinins are plant hormones that stimulate the division and differentiation of cells. In the last decade , genetic and molecular analysis of mutants has provided a valuable contribution to the understanding of the molecular mechanism of action of this class of hormones. In this paper summarizes the results of research to know the ingredients and the principles of perception and functioning of the cytokinin signal transduction pathway in a plant cell .
