In January 2001, held in Lausanne in Switzerland scientific conference entitled "Cancer and the cell cycle" - "Cancer & Cell Cycle," organized by ISREC (Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research). This article presents the most interesting, according to the author, reports from the conference. They concern not only the same cell cycle control, an important aspect of the control of the process of carcinogenesis, but also the latest developments in the fight against cancer.
