Mammalian ovary contains thousands of oocytes contained in the ovarian follicles przedantralnych . The vast majority of these bubbles are killed as a result of atresia . Thus, for example in cattle atresia is more than 99.9 % of the population bubbles. Ability to use bubbles by getting them in the very early stages of development and long-term in vitro culture would open almost unlimited source of female gametes and the potential gametotwórczy ovarian would be maximized . Initial work on obtaining and breeding bubbles przedantralnych performed in mice and rats , a pioneering publication in this field was published by Grob in 1964 in mice , studies on isolation and culture of bubbles przedantralnych led to the development of methods for the growth and maturation of the follicles , the ovulation in vitro , and to obtain seed after in vitro fertilization of oocytes obtained from follicles cultured przedantralnych and even primary . These positive results obtained in mice encourage research on the development of breeding methods of ovarian follicles przedantralnych livestock . The paper presents the technique of obtaining bubbles , their systems used in vitro culture , the methods of assessment of oocytes cultured in the alveoli and reached the stage of work in farm animals .
