Nitric oxide and hemoglobin plant

Receptor CD163 of monocytes / macrophages bound hemoglobin and its complexes with haptoglobin ( Hp - Hb ) , the receptor activates a receptor group " scavenger " for hemoglobin ( HbSR ) . Through the uptake and internalization of hemoglobin iron removal occurs as a factor inducing free radical reactions and as a factor increasing the growth and pathogenicity of bacteria. SCD163/HbSR soluble receptor is cleaved from the surface of monocytes by molecular patterns associated with pathogens at the same time , which is likely to hemolysis and the formation of Hb - Hp complexes .

Receptors for hemoglobin. Part I. Structure and function

The article presents information on the recognition by cell -free hemoglobin - Hb and its complex with haptoglobin - Hb - Hp , based on the research cited in the literature in recent years. Proposed the existence of a specific receptor mediates endocytosis of Hp - Hb complex in liver parenchymal cells , by binding studies , uptake and degradation and plasma membranes isolated rat hepatocytes . It is believed that bind parenchymal cells isolated free Hb and Hp - Hb complex , but with a low melting uptake .
