The role of communication symplastowej as part of an information exchange system between the cells of the body plant during its growth and development has been described as an example embriogenezyArabidopsis thaliana. Studies in recent years have demonstrated fact that one of the mechanisms of regulation of developmental processes are changes in the permeability of plasmodesmata between the cells of the embryo. Analysis of the movement of fluorescent markers symplastowego transport during embryogenesis showed spatio-temporal correlation between the stages of embryonic development and the formation of domains and subdomains symplastowych in the bud zygotycznym. The above information has been preceded by an analysis of terminology in the study of communication symplastowej. Are also given basic definitions relating to this issue and describes the characteristics and use of fluorochromes symplastowego transport.
